The Ogeechee was an American transport cargo steam ship. The steel ship was built in 1906 by Fore River ShipBuilding & Engineering Co., Quincey MA. The Quincy shipyard was started by Alexander Graham Bell’s famous assistant, Thomas A. Watson in 1886.

The ship was short lived, it was sunk during WWI by  a torpedo launched by the German submarine UB-35 on July 29, 1917.
